Funeral services for Thomas J. Taylor were held at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Strueber Funeral Home for Thomas J. Taylor, 74, who died Sunday at the residence of his son, Arthur Taylor, 1638 Central Avenue.
Mr. Taylor was born in Dubuque Jan. 6, 1864.
Surviving are two sons, Arthur of Dubuque and Irwin of Cedar Rapids; one daughter, Mae of Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers, John of Dubuque, and Landon of St. Paul, Minn.; and one sister, Jenny, of Detroit.
The Rev. H.D. Temple, pastor of the Grandview Methodist Church officiated at the service and at the graveside in the Methodist Cemetery at Asbury.
