Miss Harriet Ellis passed from this earthly abode Thursday morning at 7 o'clock, after an illness of short duration. The deceased was born 63 years ago and has resided in this city for the past thirty-eight years. During her long residence in this city she made many friends, who were grieved to learn of her sudden death.
The funeral was held Friday morning at nine o'clock from the home of her brother, Mr. George Ellis, of 28 Booth street, to St. Anthony's church. Interment was at Asbury cemetery.
