Miss Bernadette H. Brew died Sunday morning at 7:45 o'clock at the family home, 617 Dodge street, after an illness of two years' duration. She was born in Menominee, Ill., and leaves to mourn her passing her father, Patrick Brew, six sisters, Marjorie and Frances Brew, of Phoenix, Ariz.; Catherine Smyth, of Chicago; Mrs. John Fransen, Mrs. John Sutten and Mrs. William Ludescher, all of Dubuque, and a brother, James Brew, of East Dubuque.
Miss Brew was a member of St. Raphael's Cathedral, the Sacred Heart League and the Rosary society of that church.
The funeral will be held Tuesday morning from the home, to the Cathedral at 10:30 o'clock. Interment will be made in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
