Belle Martin, 85, last member of a pioneer Dubuque family, died Tuesday afternoon at a rest home in Manchester, Ia. She formerly lived a t1513 Central.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoffman Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Church. The Rev. Thomas Currier will officiate at the Requiem High Mass. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
She was born at Dubuque, daughter of Michael and Honora Hagerty Martin, and resided here all her life. For many years she was employed by the J.J. Rowan Dry Goods Co.
There are no immediate survivors.
The parish Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
