Henry McGuigan was a farmer in Dodge Township, in Section 23. He was born in 1830 in Ireland. Henry passed away in Dec. of 1914. Mrs. Sarah (Duggan) McGuigan was also born in Ireland. She was born on Dec. 27, 1844, near Dublin. Sarah came with her parents to America at the age of three, settling near Bankston. Sarah and Henry married Feb. 12, 1863 at Bankston. Sarah’s grave is found at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Farley having died in 1918.
