Peter Ludwig (1871-1946) the son of Theodore and Margaret Hennes Ludwig was born in Kehmer, Luxemburg. He came to America in 1889. Peter married Emma White (1881-1928) daughter of John and Mary Barbara (Stoll) White, on Feb. 4, 1902. Peter was in the feed business with John Simon in the Farmer’s Shipping Association. Later Peter bought a farm west of Farley which is now occupied by a great grandson, Wayne Ludwig. Children born to the Ludwig’s were: Urban, Erma Meis, Lucille Ahler, Leon, Margaret Funke, Mary, Sister Mary Germaine-PVBM, Clara Stansbary, Edmund, Mildred Houlahan, Loretta Krapfl, Rosalia Leonard, Viola Hackbarth, Germaine Streng and Jerome.
