Friends of Mrs. Celia Daly and the Daly family may call after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at the Reiff Funeral Home in Farley. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Farley, with burial in the Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Celia Hogan Daly was born on April 20, 1893, at Worthington, daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth Hoover Hogan. She received her education in the Worthington and Farley Schools. She was married to Frank Daly, November 7, 1920 at Farley, Iowa. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Presentation Court, No. 1460 and the St. Joseph Altar and Rosary Society.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John (Betty) Koerperich, Epworth, Mrs. Rosemary Daly, Cascade and Mrs. Frank (Helen) Ohranmda, Chicago, Illinois; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank, who died June 5, 1957, four sisters and five brothers.
