Brother Tobias Shanahan, 88, of Mellary Circle, Peosta,Iowa, passed away,on Sunday,February 2,2020,at New Mellary Abbey, rural Peosta.
Services will be at7a.m.at New Mellary Abbey. Burial will be in the New Mellary Cemetery.
Brother Shanahan entered New Mellary Abbey in1958. He worked on the farm and at Trappist Caskets. Surviving are the community of New Mellary ; brothers, Richard of Maumee, Ohio and Terrance of Idaho; and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Hospice of Dubuque for their care.
