Died of His Wounds

Young Walker, who was so severely injured by an accidental gun shot, as reported in yesterday’s Times, died of his wounds. Contrary to the usual experience in such cases, the young man did not suffer much pain, was conscious up to the time of his death, passing way without a struggle, his face looking as if in the repose of pleasant slumber, without the shadow of pain. His funeral will take place today at 2 o’clock p.m., from his home. He is spoken of as a promising young man. Mr. and Mrs. Walker will have the sympathy of the entire neighborhood, and a large circle of friends, in the sad affliction which has fallen upon them.
