Iowan Killed by Gunshot Wound

Elmer J. Roddy, aged 29, of Dubuque lost his life through the accidental discharge of a .82 caliber revolver he was carrying in his over pocket. The young man, who was employed in a St. Lois bank, had been home visiting his parents. While awaiting the arrival of the Illinois Central train he stepped into the station toilet room, and while arranging his clothing the weapon discharged, causing instant death.
