BRANDT-On Sunday, March 10th, at 12 o’clock, noon, Jean, son of Frederick & Emily Brandt, aged 4 years and 3 months.
Funeral, this (Tuesday) afternoon at 2 o’clock, at the residence, Sixteenth Street, between Clay and White. Friends of the family are invited to attend.

A SEVERE AFFLICTION-In this morning papers appears the death of a little child of F. G. Brandt. Less than a week ago the family was as happy a one as could be found in Dubuque. Suddenly without a moments warning, three promising, beautiful children were together stricken with that fell disease, the spotted fever. One has passed away; the others, at the time of writing this, were at the point of death. The agony of the stricken parents none can tell. May He who holds the Universe in His hands arrest the fellow destroyer.
