The wife of Mr. Tim Byron died last night at 8 o'clock at the family home, corner Jones and Locust streets. The announcement will be read with regret by those acquainted with the family, and in the sad affliction which has befallen Mr. Byron he will have the sympathy of the entire community.

Mrs. Byron's maiden name was Bridget Horan and she was a native of the county Mayo, Ireland, and was 75 years of age. She came to this city many years ago and lived a pure and noble life. She was kind to everybody with whom she came in contact, and as a true Christian woman she sank peacefully to sleep to await the reward of the faithful.

She was a devout member of the Catholic church and the funeral will take place from the Cathedral on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock.
