Adele M. Clemens, age 93, of Dubuque, IA, passed away peacefully at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2015, at Ennoble Skilled Nursing and Rehab.

To honor Adele's life, private family services are being held. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.

Adele was born on August 31, 1921, in Dubuque, IA, daughter of Arthur and Ursula (Accola) Kaune

Adele graduated from Dubuque Senior High School. She married Robert Clemens in Dubuque in 1943. He preceded her in death. Adele and Robert loved to go camping together with their family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who took great pride in caring for her children. Adele loved playing cards with her grandchildren and was known for her "sweet tooth."

Adele is survived by her children, Sandy (Keith Klein) Barklow, Dubuque, IA, Richard (Susan) Clemens, Tampa, FL; and her four grandchildren, Joe and Kelly Clemens, Samantha and Ali Barklow.

Adele was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; a sister Janet Weitz; and a brother, Clarence Kaune.

An Adele M. Clemens memorial fund has been established.

A special thanks to Dr. Abele and the nurses and staff at Ennoble Skilled Nursing and Rehab and Hospice of Dubuque for the wonderful care they provided Adele.
