DYERSVILLE, Ia. — Sylvia E Tobin of 551 2nd Ave. SE died Friday at Oak Crest Manor here.

Her husband. Joseph. died in 1948.

Mrs. Tobin was local state officer, grand regent and state district deputy of the Catholic Daughters oi America. She was also state chairman for the relief of peace for the CD of IA. She was a member of the Dubuque County Cancer Society.

Service: will be at, 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier here, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Kramer Funeral Harte here, where the Catholic Daughters of America Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday and the parish Scripture Service at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Surviving are a son, Maurice cl Dyersville, and two sisters. Mrs. Fred (Estelle) White and Mrs. Gilbert (Germaine) Sommers, both at Chicago. Ill.

Memorials may be given to the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier.
