Death Calls Mrs. Kern
Mrs. Mary Kern died at Mercy Hospital on Sunday morning at three o'clock, her death bringing to close an illness extending over the past few months. The deceased was 48 years old, and formerly resided at New Wine. For the past seven years Mrs. Kern had made her home in this city. She leaves to mourn her death eight children. Her demise is a great loss to her family and is sincerely mourned by her many friends. The funeral will be held on Tuesday morning at nine o'clock from the family residence, 365 Kaufmann Avenue, to the Sacred Heart Church. The interment will be made in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Mary Kern was laid at rest in Mt. Calvary Cemetery on Tuesday morning. The funeral was held from the family residence 365 Kaufman Avenue to Sacred Heart Church, where Father Holthaus was celebrant of a requiem mass. He also officiated at the interment.
