Cascade Pioneer, Cascade, Iowa, Dec. 20, 1878

COWAN-On Tuesday morning Dec. 17th, 1878, Lizzie, daughter of Thomas & Margaret Cowan, of Washington Township, Jones County, Iowa.

Miss Lizzie was an estimable young lady and much beloved by a large circle of friends and relatives. The funeral took place on Thursday and was largely attended.
