DYERSVILLE

Mr. Herman Anstoetter passed away at his home east of Dyersville Monday evening at eight o’clock, after an illness of several months. Mr. Anstoetter was sixty-five years of age, having been born in Salzburg, Hanover, Germany in the year 1850. He grew to manhood in his native land and then came to this country and settled on a farm in Wisconsin, later moving to New Vienna and thence to his home in Dyersville. He was married in 1876 to Miss Elizabeth Erdmann, who preceded him in death twelve years ago. After a few years he was married to Miss Gertrude Erdmann, who, with the following children, survive; Henry, John, Ben, Clara and Bertha, who are home; Frank of Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. Jasper of Farley, Iowa; Mrs. Kluesner of Bancroft, Iowa

Mr. Anstoetter was highly esteemed and respected citizen of Dyersville and has many friends learn of his death with sorrow.
