Sister Mary (Marie Florian) Wolff, OP, died Sept. 3, 2018. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Sept. 10, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at the Sinsinawa Motherhouse. The wake service will be at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 9.

After religious profession she taught in Chicago Catholic schools from 1938-1947. She then taught in Sheboygan, Wis.; Peoria, Ill.; Northfield, Ill.; Minneapolis; and River Forest, Ill., before ministering in the West-for nine years in Santa Rosa and Eureka, Calif, and for 18 years in Colorado Springs, Colo. She joined the St. Dominic Villa community in 2017.

Sister Mary was born in Merna, Neb., on October 14, 1917, to Joseph and Lorretto (Walsh) Wolff.
She is survived by two brothers, Abbott Theodore Wolff, OSB and Patrick Wolff; nieces and nephews; and her Dominican sisters.
