CASCADE, Iowa - Donald E. Coyle, 95, of Cascade, Iowa, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016, at 8:39 p.m. peacefully at Shady Rest Care Center in Cascade, Iowa.

Friends and relatives of Don may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade, Iowa, where a wake service will be held at 6:30 p.m., and a KC Rosary will be held at 6:45 p.m.

Services for Don will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Cascade, Iowa, with Rev. Douglas Loecke officiating. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Cascade, Iowa. Friends also may call after 9 a.m. Friday at the church.

Don was born on April 26, 1921, son of George and Loretta (Hardiman) Coyle, in Anthon, Iowa. On November 25, 1943, he was united in marriage to Dorothy M. Rogers at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Cascade, Iowa. She preceded him in death on April 17, 2008.

He was a member of St. Matthias Parish and the Knights of Columbus Council #930.

He is survived by three siblings, John "Bud" Coyle, of Monticello, IA, Joe (Marie) Coyle, of Hopkinton, IA and Madonna Leib, of Cascade, IA; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; three brothers, Wilmer, Francis and Melvin Coyle; three sisters, Georgene Klostermann, Darlene Knepper and Betty Jean in infancy.
