DYERSVILLE, Iowa - Mary M. Boge, 83, of Dyersville, died Monday, July 19, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque, due to failing health and a brief illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a parish scripture service at 4 p.m.

Mrs. Boge was office manager at Ideal Decorating for many years.

She was born on June 10, 1921, in Dyersville, daughter of Jacob and Frances (Grawe) Huberty. She married Eugene "Pete" Boge on Oct. 21, 1944, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Dyersville.

She graduated from Xavier High School in 1939.

She loved quilting, playing cards, fishing and camping with Pete.

Surviving are her husband, Pete; five sons, Steve (Marie), of Clear Lake, Ken (Terry), of Crawfordsville, Bruce (friend, Sue) and Neal, both of Garland, Texas, and Brian (Donna), of Dyersville; three daughters, Judy (Tom) Wilhelm, of Dyersville, Marla Schmitt, of Mason City, and Beverly (Bob) Engelken, of New Vienna; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four foster grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Kyle Boge; a son-in-law, Bruce Jacobs; and four brothers, Cyril, Larry, Marvin and Donald Huberty.
