Patrick F. "Pat" Henneberry, 67, of Dubuque passed away Friday, September 18th, 2015, at home, surrounded by his family.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2015, at Leonard Funeral Home and Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, with Reverend John Taylor Officiating. Burial will follow in Dubuque Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Military Honors accorded by the American Legion Post #6 of Dubuque. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21st, 2015, at the funeral home.

Pat was born on August 13th, 1948, the son of Bill and Clara (Schroeder) Henneberry. He graduated from Dubuque Senior High School and Served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war from 1967 to 1970. Pat was united in marriage to Rebecca Schwartz on September 6th, 1969, in Dubuque.

He worked for Georgia Pacific from 1970 to 2005 and also at Swiss Colony from 2005 to 2010. Pat loved seeing classic antique cars, building anything and woodworking. He especially loved spending time at the cottage at Leisure Lake with his family and friends.

Pat is survived by his wife, Rebecca; three children, Tammy (Tom) Breitbach, Tom (Erin) Henneberry, and Susan Dunkel; 11 grandchildren and a sister, Kathie (Tom) Reisdorf.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Clara, and a brother, Bill Henneberry.
