Cynthia Strang, 57, of Dubuque, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at her home, surrounded by family.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3860 Asbury Road, where family will greet friends at 11 a.m. Saturday until service time. Private burial will be in Dubuque Memorial Gardens. Rev. Dianne Grace, of Hospice of Dubuque, will officiate.

Cynthia was born October 15, 1958, in Dubuque, the daughter of Joseph and Darlene (Reifsteck) Clancy. She attended Hempstead High School and worked for K-Mart for more than 30 years. Cynthia married Brian J. Strang on June 11, 1994, at Eagle Point Park in Dubuque. She enjoyed camping, traveling, cruises with her Mom, being with the "K-Mart girls," golfing, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Brian; children, William "Billy" (Sarah) Patrum Jr., Jessica L. (Matt) Fleckenstein; stepdaughter, Krystal Strang; grandchildren, Paige Patrum, Carter Patrum, Kaylee Hume and two more on the way; her mother, Darlene Minor; siblings, Connie (Al) Pline, Carla Schumacher, Carl "Duke" (Tami) Seastrand, Chris "Sis" (Peter) Davies, Craig (Cindy) Seastrand, Pat (Jamie) Clancy; stepbrothers, Matt (Charlene) Minor, Jeff (Debbie) Minor; mother-in-law, Jan Strang; in-laws, Cindy (Tom) Steffens, Sandy (Jeff) Urbain, Brad (Kim) Strang, Sarah (Ed) Maloney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Clancy; grandson, Caden Patrum-Ostrander; siblings, Chuck Seastrand, Chad Seastrand; stepmother, Beverly Clancy; stepfather, Hubert "Red" Minor; father in-law, Joseph Strang; stepbrother, Steve Minor; and stepsister, Debra Minor.

Memorials may be made to the Cynthia Strang Memorial Fund. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Hermann and his nurse Sandy; and Hospice of Dubuque. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.hskfh.com
