Andrew D. Krayer, 56, of 14157 Deerfield Court, died Thursday afternoon, May 22, 2008, at Aurora St. Luke's Hospital, Milwaukee.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, at the church. The Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home, 3860 Asbury Road, is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on May 9, 1952, in Dubuque, son of Donald Andrew and Shirley (Avery) Krayer. He married Carol Ruley on June 8, 1973, at Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Andy was a financial planner with CUNA Mutual at DuTrac Community Credit Union. Prior to that, he was a professional musician.

The outdoors were Andy's sanctuary. He loved boating, water-skiing, cross county skiing and gardening. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his wife, Carol Krayer, of Dubuque; a daughter, Lynne (Jason) Krayer-Luke, of Boston; a son, John Krayer, of Iowa City; his father, Donald Krayer, of Dubuque; and three sisters, Beth, Martha, and Michelle.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Krayer.

Memorials may be given to the Aurora St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee.
