Mrs. Delbert (Patricia) Mastin, 66, of 199 Valley St., died Monday evening, Dec. 30, 2002, at home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, 1640 Main St. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Mastin worked for the Dubuque School System for 15 years.

She was born on May 1, 1936, daughter of Raymond and Bertha (Smothers) Beck. She married Delbert Mastin on Jan. 2, 1954, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Dubuque.

She enjoyed her family and playing bingo. She was cherished as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Surviving are her husband, Delbert Mastin; her children, Wanda (John) Schmitt and Michael R. Mastin, both of Dubuque, and Patty (Jake) Graves, of Walcott, Iowa; three brothers, Richard (Mary) Beck, of Hartland, Mich., Jerry Chandler, of Madison, Wis., and James Mitchell, of Ypsilanti, Mich.; six grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Sandra Pierce.
