Margaret M. "Jack" Van Pelt, 89, of Luther Manor, formerly of 1800 W. Third St., died Monday, March 28, 2005, at Luther Manor.

Services were held March 30 at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, Iowa. Visitation was March 30 at Siegert-Casper Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave.

She was born on Sept. 12, 1915, in Des Moines, daughter of George and Catherine (Nillis) Van Pelt.

She worked at People's Natural Gas until her retirement.

She was a member of the American Business Women's Association, the YWCA and St. Columbkille's Catholic Church.

Surviving are cousins.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Marion Van Pelt; aunts; and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Columbkille's Catholic Church.
