Sr. Mary Abondia Schnier, OSF, Mount St. Francis Convent, died at 10 a.m. Saturday at Xavier Hospital. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday in the convent chapel. The Rev. Herbert L. Tegeler, Waterloo, Ia., a great nephew, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

She was born at St. Donatus, daughter of the late Henry and Anna Mousel Schnier, and taught in grade school staffed by the order. Surviving are two sisters; Sister Mary Mildred, O.S.F., Immaculate Conception Academy, Dubuque; and Anna Schnier, American Lake, Wash.
