Telegraph Herald (Dubuque, IA) — Thursday, October 30, 1997

Harold C. "Harry" Greenwood, 61, of Green Bay, Wis., formerly of Dubuque, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1997, at home.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, both in Dubuque. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., Dubuque, were there will be a parish wake service at 4:30 p.m.

Harry was a former meat manager at Eagle Foods and later worked at the Dubuque Packing Co. in the sales office. He lastly worked for the American Food Corp. in the Dressed Beef Division, Green Bay.

He was born on Dec. 17, 1935, in Dubuque, son of Ben J. and Gladys L. (Phillips) Greenwood.

Harry was an accomplished musician and he played guitar with the Country Express Band in Dubuque for several years. He was a former member of the Musicians Union Local 289. He enjoyed playing his guitar and making music. Harry loved being with his grandchildren and his family and his friends.

Surviving are his ex-wife, Mary A. (Alfred) Nauman, of Dubuque; a daughter, Tracy L. (Richard) Kopp, of Kenosha, Wis.; two sons, Steven J. (Lisa) Greenwood, of Dubuque, and Mark A. (Narumi) Greenwood, of Osaka, Japan; four grandchildren, Joshua and Liam Kopp, and Mitchell and Miles Greenwood; and two brothers, Benny W. (Rosemary) Greenwood, of Dubuque, and Bob E. Greenwood, of Nashville, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob, in infancy.

A Harold C. Greenwood Memorial Fund has been established.
