Mrs. Annie Eck, wife of Nicholas Eck, passed away at the family residence, 1172 Main Street, on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock. She had been Ill but a few days, her sickness being the result of a paralytic stroke.

Mrs. Eck was born in Bavaria forty-six years ago. She emigrated to this country fifteen years ago and had been a resident of Dubuque for the last four years.

She is survived by her husband who is lying seriously ill at Finley Hospital.

The funeral will take place on Thursday morning at 9 o’clock to St. Mary’s Church.
