Mrs. Mary Steffens Passes Away in
Chicago-Body Brought Here for Burial

Mrs. Mary Steffen died at her residence, 500 Thomas Street, Chicago, Ill., Jan. 3, aged 27 years. The remains will arrive at the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul depot this evening at 7 o’clock, and will be taken to the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Nic Steffen, 1636 Maple Street. The funeral will be held from there at 9 o’clock Wednesday morning to St. Mary’s Church thence to Mt. Calvary Cemetery. She leaves to mourn besides her husband, her mother, four brothers, Nic and Peter Everett, Chicago, and William and John of Dubuque, also three sisters, Mrs. Payne, Kate and Annie all of Chicago. She was born in Dubuque and lived here until three months ago, when she removed to Chicago.
