Funeral services over the remains of the late Mrs. Carpender took place yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the family residence, 27 Grandview Avenue, Rev. Orvis officiating. A quartet composed of Miss Wheat, Mrs. Nelson, and Messrs. Schumacher and Williams, rendered several selections. Interment followed in Linwood. Pallbearers were Messrs. Van Wie, Parkins, C. Skemp, J. Steiner, E. Gilliam and E. Gregory. The funeral was largely attended.
