Services for Harold Pollock, Sr., he was born May 9, 1973, Route 2 Zwingle, Iowa, formerly of Dubuque will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Egelhof-Casper-Strueber Funeral Home, 1143 Locust Street. Burial will be in Rockdale Cemetery will military rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post 6 of Dubuque. Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Pollock worked at A. Y. McDonald Supply Co., for several years. He later worked in the experimental department at John Deere Works for 20 years, retiring in 1979.

He was born on May 9, 1920, in Dubuque son of John T. and Delia Hunter Pollock. He died at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, June 6, 1993, at Mercy Health Center St. Joseph’s Unit.

He married Lois Brandt on April 12, 1941, at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Dubuque she survives.

He was a World War II Army veteran, serving as a tank gunner in Germany. He was a member of the Dubuque Barbershop Society since 1960.

Also surviving are four sons, Ronald of Epworth, Iowa, David and Harold W. Jr., both of Dubuque, and Phillip of Tallahassee, Fla., 11 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters, and a sister, Cleo Astgen, of Dubuque.
