Pioneer Resident of Dubuque
County Dies at His Home
In Key West

Patrick Carroll, one of the pioneer residents of Dubuque County, died at his home at Key West at 5 o’clock this morning. The deceased was 94 years of age and has been a resident of this county since 1855. Besides his widow the surviving members of his family are three daughter, namely, Mrs. Joe Rooney, Mrs. Pillard and Miss Josephine, also three sons, namely, Henry, Phillip and Walter.

Mr. Carroll was widely known in this vicinity and the news of his death will be learned with regret by the host of friends throughout the county.
