The many friends of Ralph C. Jackson will be sorry to learn of his severe illness. The young man was taken sick fourteen weeks ago with what was thought to be sciatic rheumatism. Sometime later a swelling appeared on his back and he was removed to Finley Hospital where a specialist from Chicago preformed an operation. The operation proved that Mr. Jackson was suffering from cancer of the bowels. Tuesday he was much improved and his father left on a business trip. His brother John of Omaha who was also here departed but has been telegraphed for. His death was expected.
