The death of Mr. James McGuinness, aged 23 years, occurs Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the residence of his mother, Mrs. Mary McGuinness, 644 Rush Street. The deceased was born and reared in this city. At the age of four years he was taken ill with spinal meningitis and has since that time been an invalid. He is survived by his mother, two sisters, Mary and Bessie, two brothers, Frank and Dennis.

The funeral took place today at 9 o’clock. Services were held at St. Columbkille Church, Rev. Father O’Donnell officiating. Interment took place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The pallbearers were Clem McCarten, Walter Dawson, James Donahue, Thomas O’Meara, James McBride and Peter Kearney.
