Death of Mrs. James Goddard Takes
Place at Rochester, Minn.

The remains of Mrs. James O. Goddard, who died in Rochester, Minn., Sunday, arrived on the Great Western at 4 o’clock and were interred in Linwood Cemetery. Rev. DuPuy, of the Grandview Methodist Church, conducted services at the grave. Mrs. Goddard was the widow of James Goddard, who was killed on the railroad bridge between Dubuque and Dunlieth fourteen years ago. The family formerly resided in East Dubuque where they were well known and highly respected. Miss Sabrie Goddard, only daughter of the deceased, accompanied the body to the city.
