The funeral of the late S. S. Winall occurred this afternoon. Services were held at the family residence, 96 Chestnut Street, and were conducted by Rev. H. D. Atchison, pastor of St. Luke’s Church, of which deceased was a member. The home had been thronged from the time of his death last Saturday morning up to the hour of the funeral with sympathizing friends and many large floral offerings were to be seen. During the services at the house there was a very large attendance of neighbors and friends, and after the remains left the residence the members of the Harmony Lodge I. O. O. F. had charge and conducted the ritualistic services at the grave, where the interment was in charge of undertaker Walton. Interment was in Linwood, and the pallbearers were: C. H. Berg, W. E. Harriman, J. C. Longueville, James Lally, I. Cleminson and J. W. Newburgh.
