The Dubuque Telegraph-Herald, Tuesday, January 12, 1897

William Peter Flecheig, aged 26 years and 5 months, died at the family residence, 2915 Couler Avenue, at 11:55 p.m., Saturday of consumption, after an illness of ten months. Deceased was born in Celina, Mercer County, Ohio, and came to this city with his parents when he was four years old. Until incapacitated by disease he was employed as an assistant pressman in the printing establishment of Hardie & Scharle.

He is survived by his parents, two sister, Clara and Christine, and one brother, Bernard. His brother Charles died two years and 5 months ago. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o’clock. Services will be conducted by Rev. Ficke at the family residence.
