Death came to Miss Florence J. Jungk Thursday evening at 8:10 o’clock at Mercy Hospital. She had been ill since last Friday. Miss Jungk was born in Dubuque, June 7, 18 years ago and had always lived in Dubuque. She graduated from the Sacred Heart Parcholical School and attended the Immaculate Conception Academy.She leaves to mourn her passing, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Carl Jungk,; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph J. Locher, Dubuque, Mrs. L. E. Hall, Chicago, and Marion, Dubuque; six brothers, Arthur and Julius, Des Moines; Walter, Dubuque; Harold, Los Angeles; Arnold, Chicago; and Leo, Dubuque; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Jungk and Mr. and Mrs. C. Schmitt, Dubuque.
Miss Jungk was of Catholic faith, a member of the Sacred Heart parish, St. Clara’s Court, No. 325; Women’s Catholic Order of Foresters and was a director of the Young Ladies Sodality of Sacred Heart Church.
Miss Jungk was a popular young woman of pleasing disposition and gentler nature, and through her many endearing qualities surrounded herself with a large circle of friends.
The funeral will be held Monday morning from the home, 713 Lincoln Avenue, to Sacred Heart Church at 9 o’clock. Interment will be made in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
