Mrs. Barbara llgen. 80, Iowa township, widow of John llgen, died at her home four miles south of Holy Cross at 7:30 Thursday night, after a lingering illness.

The body will be taken to the family home from the Sanner funeral home, Farley, Friday night, where friends may call after 7 o'clock. The funeral will be held from the home to St. Clements church, Bankston, at 10 o'clock Monday morning. Burial will be in St. Clements cemetery.

Mrs. llgen was born in Germany Sept. 25, 1864, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Jungk. She came to America and to Dubuque County with her parents when she was four years old. She resided at Luxemburg, la., until her marriage to Mr. llgen Jan. 26, 1891.

She was a member of St. Clement's church and the Rosary society and League of the Sacred Heart of that parish.

Surviving are four daughters, Miss Emma llgen, Chicago, Ill., Mrs. William (Katie) Behnke, at home, Mrs. Joseph (Anna) Luchsinger, Asbury, and Mrs. Austin (Mary) Kaiser, Dubuque; four sons, John Ilgen, Epworth, Nick and Peter Ilgen, both of Bankston, and Aloysius Ilgen, Zwingle; three sisters, Mrs. Michael Link,
Dyersville, and Mrs. Albert Meyer and Mrs. John Scheiltz, both of Luxemburg; two brothers, Nicholas Jungk, Guttenberg, Ia., and John Jungk, New Hampton, Ia.; 26 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parent, her husband, and two sisters.
