DIED
WEST – at Little Rock, Ark., on the 17th of April, of dropsy of the head. Dr. J. H. West, hospital steward of the 3rd Iowa Battery, aged 38 years.
He was a resident of Mosalem Township, this county. He was buried at Little Rock by the members of his company on the 18th ult.
