Mrs. Mary Wilson Hayes

Mrs. Mary Wilson Hayes, of 1243 Locust street, died at 10:20 pm Saturday at her home.

Friends may call at the Strueber funeral home. Services will be at 10 am Wednesday to St. Patrick's church and burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Members of St. Patrick's Rosary society will meet at 7:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home to recite the rosary.

Mrs. Hayes was born at Springfield, Ill., daughter of the late George and Catherine Kearne Wilson. She came to Dubuque when she was a child.

She attended St. Patrick's church and was a member of the Rosary society.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles Kirk of Delmar, Ia., and Miss Bernice Hayes, at home; three grandchildren, Joseph Kirk of Tipton, Ia., Harold Kirk of Maquoketa, Ia., and Betty Kirk of Delmar, and one great grandchild. Her husband, John J. Hayes, one daughter who died in infancy and one brother preceded her.
