Julia Kenny

The death of Julia Kenny occurred at her home in West Cascade at 5:30 o'clock last Thursday evening, following a stroke suffered Sunday morning of last week. Miss Kenny was born in Temple Hill, Iowa, June 12, 1868, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M. Kenny.

A quiet, unassuming character, Miss Julia remained faithful throughout her life to those principles which she held most dear, was a good neighbor and kind friend, and was never found wanting when the call for charity or helping those afflicted came.

She is survived by her sisters, Mary and Angeline, at home, and by her brothers Ed and Joe of Temple Hill.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at St. Martin's church at Cascade where the mass of requiem was read, and burial was at Mount Olivet at Key West.

Pall bearers were Joe Tallman, Joe Takes, Ed Lasche, Miles Leonard, Joe Kenneally and Leo Skahill.
