Mrs. John Kane

Mrs. John Kane, 72, a former resident of Dubuque County, died Saturday night at 11 o'clock at St. Ann's Hospital, Chicago, following an illness of several months.

The body was returned to Dubuque Monday afternoon and was taken to the Bennett and Ashworth Funeral Home, from where the funeral home will be held to St. Columbkille's Church Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Mrs. Kane was born in Dubuque County July 3, 1866, and moved to Chicago 15 years ago.

Surviving with her husband are her son, Clement Kane, Chicago; her step-son, Bart Kane, Dubuque; three step-daughters, Mrs. John Woods, Davenport, Mrs. Andrew Conzett, Dubuque, and Miss Sabina Kane, Chicago; four brothers, Patrick J., Edward and Joseph Crowley, Dubuque, and Cornelius Crowley, Tulsa, Okla.; and two sisters, Mrs. William McCabe, Table Mound Township, and Sister Mary Inviolata, Presentation Convent, Dubuque.

Preceding her in death with her parents were two brothers and one sister.
