Death of a Child

Mr. and Mrs. George Hitchcock mourn the loss of their daughter Mae, who died December 29, 1884, at Brownsville, Minn., of acute peritonitis, aged seven months. She was a lovely child and the idol of her young parents, who have the sympathy of their many friends. She was the grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Wilber. The remains were brought to Dubuque and placed in the vault at the cemetery until the mother, who is ill, can be present at the funeral.
