~
After a long illness, Mrs. Matt Flanagan, wife of a well-known employee of the American Express Co., died on Tuesday afternoon at half past four o’clock. She suffered for years with the fell destroyer, consumption, and during her long illness suffered with true Christian fortitude. She was a sister of Capt. Moore, of the night police and of Mr. John Moore, of Turkey River station. Mrs. Flanagan was a good woman, and her demise is deeply regretted by a large circle of friends in this city. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon from the family residence on Eagle Point Avenue. The remains were interred in Key West Cemetery.
