McDERMOTT-Thursday morning, Jan. 4th, 1877, of typhus fever, Miss Mattie McDermott, at her late residence, 212 11th Street. Funeral Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock from Second Presbyterian Church. Burial at Linwood. Family and friends are invited to attend.

OBITUARY
Death relieved Miss Mattie McDermott of her suffering yesterday, an event not wholly unexpected, she was sick several weeks with typhus fever, which disease baffles physicians and friends. The funeral occurs tomorrow which will be released from a notice elsewhere.
