DEATH OF LITTLE MAGGIE

We are called upon to make the sad announcement of the death of little Maggie Hall, daughter of Mr. Wm. Hall, a well-known patrolman. The little household gift was well and playful on Wednesday, but sleeping in death’s arm on Thursday, caused by that distressing malady diphtheria. Maggie has gone home know, having visited long enough to endear the hearts of her parents to their household idol. ‘Tis hard to part with such treasurers, but the good book commands us all to lay them all up in heaven.’ The bereaved parents have the sympathy of their friends, and as William hereafter watches the night, so may his angel daughter hover over and comfort him in his solitary vigils.
