TELEGRAPH-HERALD AND TIMES JOURNAL, January 1, 1929

The death of Conrad Miller, 75, occurred at the family residence, 259 East Twelfth Street, Tuesday morning at 3 o’clock. He had been in ill health for seven months, but had been seriously ill for only a few days. Besides his widow he is survived by four children, Henry, Mrs. James O’Rourke, Clara and George Miller, all of Dubuque; one brother, Henry of Seattle, Wash.; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Miller was born in Switzerland and came to this country at the age of 9. For thirty years he had been employed at the Dubuque Boat & Boiler Works.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Didesch Funeral Home Thursday afternoon, the hour to be announced later. Interment will be in Linwood.
