Lelia J. Strane, age 26 years, of Zwingle, Ia died in Ontario, Oregon Thursday January 1st, after an illness of several years. For the past nine years she has made her home with her sister, Mrs. Will Laxon of Ontario. She was born June 7, 1893 and was a life-long member of the United Presbyterian Church of Zwingle.

Five brothers and three sisters survive, J. C. Strane, Zwingle, Floyd R. Strane of St. Paul, Minn., Dr. W. J. Strane of Eagle Grove, Ia., Archie Strane of Quincy, Ill., Wallace Strane, Ontario, Oregon; Mrs. H. M. Titus and Miss Jennie Strane of Marion, Ia., and Mrs. Will Laxon of Ontario, Oregon.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, January 6th at 2 o’clock from the Harmony Reformed Church, Zwingle, and internment will be made in the United Presbyterian Cemetery.
