Mrs. Leonard B. Birch

Services for Mrs. Leonard A. (Leona) Birch, 65, of 1190 Kane St., will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Ghost Church, with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Behr's, where the parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Leona Adams Birch, who was born at Meyer, Iowa, died at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday at Finley Hospital. She worked at Montgomery Ward prior to her retirement and was a member of the Holy Ghost Rosary Society and the Tri-State Twirlers and Round Dance Club.

Surviving besides her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Kathryn) Brashaw (sic) of Dubuque; one son, the Rev. Keith L., at St. Joseph's Church, Marion, Iowa; four grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Michael (Josephine) Jungen of Tucson, Ariz.
